A case was filed with the Bihar court against Rhea Chakraborty on Saturday. The actress has been accused of abetting the suicide of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

A resident of Patahi locality of Muzzafarpur, Kundan Kumar, filed a petition befoe the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Mukesh Kumar. Kumar's lawyer Kamlesh confirmed accusing Rhea of 'financial and mental exploitation' of Sushant Singh Rajput. “My client is a huge fan of Rajput and has been deeply distressed by his suicide. He has filed his complaint under IPC Sections 306 (abetment of suicide) and 420 (fraud),” he said.

Rhea was recently interrogated by the Bandra Police for over nine hours. Apart from the actress, the Mumbai Police has recorded statements of 14 others, with regards to Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide on June 14, 2020.

Mukesh Kumar, co-incidentally, would also be hearing another petition filed by local advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha on eight Bollywood personalities including Karan Johar and Salman Khan. Aditya Chopra, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ekta Kapoor would also be questioned with Kangana Ranaut as a witness on the case.
