Sushmita Sen's reply to fan who asked how she survived nepotism in Bollywood will win your heart
Bollywood diva Sushmita Sen recently ended her hiatus as she made her web screen debut with Aarya. The series was received well by critics as well as her fans. During a recent 'ask me anything' on her Twitter account, on Sunday, Sushmita answered all the questions her fans asked her about her life and career choices.

Amid the raging nepotism debate, one of the fans asked Sushmita about her inspirations, fears, and also her views about the subject. As a fan asked her, "How you survived Nepotism in Bollywood ??" Sushmita replied saying, "By focusing on my Audience...YOU GUYS!!! I will continue to work as an actor as long as YOU want to see me!! #simpleenough #AskAarya"

The debate around nepotism was sparked in Bollywood after Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14. Investigations in the case are still ongoing. For the uninformed, Sushmita was crowned Miss India and then Miss Universe in 1994 after which she made her Bollywood debut in 1996 with Dastak.

Aarya released on Disney+ Hotstar on June 19. The DNA review of the show read, "Aarya is slow and slightly predictable but Sushmita's luminous presence and beautiful performances make those one-hour episodes acceptable and watchable. She will remind of Samay: When Time Strikes her 2003 films wherein she played the role of a tough cop. She is shown as a mother to her three kids, who themselves go through a different journey and are forgiven instantly. Aarya is watchable but predictable. The show is an official adaptation of Dutch series titled Penoza which I haven't watched or heard before."
