Today, the makers of Dil Bechara announced that the film will be directly streamed on Disney+ Hotstar on July 24, 2020. The romantic flick marks as Sushant Singh Rajput's final film. Directed by casting director Mukesh Chhabra in his directorial debut, Sanjana Sanghi marks her first outing as the leading lady. As soon as the announcement was made, fans gave mixed reactions as they wished for a theatrical release of Dil Bechara in memory of Sushant.

Meanwhile, Sushant's former co-stars and friends Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor and Kartik Aaryan took to their Instagram pages and shared the poster. They posted about the film with a 'heart' emoji and it's too sweet for words.

Disney+ Hotstar VIP's Instagram page had shared the poster and wrote a beautiful caption which read as "A story of love, hope, and endless memories. Celebrating the late #SushantSinghRajput's legacy that will be etched in the minds of all and cherished forever. #DilBechara coming to everyone on July 24. For the love of Sushant and his love for cinema, the movie will be available to all subscribers and non-subscribers."

Dil Bechara is the official remake of 2014 Hollywood romantic drama The Fault in our Stars based on John Green's popular novel of the same name. The Hindi adaptation is done by Shashank Khaitan and Suprotim Sengupta. Saif Ali Khan also makes a special appearance in the film and the music for the much-awaited film is given by none other than AR Rahman.
