Not Priyanka Chopra, but THIS Bollywood actress was the first choice as lead opposite Hrithik Roshan in 'Krrish'Bollywood-superhero movie 'Krrish', directed and produced by Rakesh Roshan, broke the monotonous chain of romantic drama and comedy dominating the Hindi film industry. It paved a path both for the audience and directors for more superhero movies like 'Ra One', and 'Drona'.

While the undeniable on-screen romance between Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Hrithik Roshan was executed well, it was 'Vivah' actress Amrita Rao who was the first contender for Priya's role in the movie.

The actress disclosed the reason behind this knock-back. In an interview with Hindustan Times in 2006, she had said, "Hrithik and I did a photoshoot and unfortunately the chemistry was missing as I was looking too young for him. I don't have any hard feelings about losing Krrish because I strongly believe destiny leads each individual in life."

She sure had missed her chance to be saved and fall in love with the superhero but has left her impression through her other roles; be it the obstinate Sanjana Bakshi in 'Main Hoon Na' or wholesome Poonam in 'Vivah'.

In her personal life, at the moment she is revelling in life’s simple pleasure with her husband, RJ Anmol, and their newly welcomed baby boy, Veer.

Director Rakesh Roshan, though, reportedly has no plans on proceeding with 'Krrish 4' as of now. He reasoned the hold on the film due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, as informed by a leading daily.
