After Salman Khan reveals Arpita Khan Sharma tested COVID-19 positive, latter says 'have fully recovered'Author : AZIndia News Desk
Superstar Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan Sharma on Monday (May 10) confirmed that she had tested positive for COVID-19 in early April, 2021. Arpita took to her Instagram to break the news and also said that she has now fully recovered.
“I tested positive for Covid-19 in the beginning of the month of April 2021 however I was asymptomatic. I followed all the guidelines and protocols and thankfully with the grace of God I have fully recovered and have been well since. Stay Safe. Stay Strong. Stay Positive,” Arpita wrote in her post.
Meanwhile Salman Khan, who is geared up for the release of his much-awaited film ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’, revealed in a journalists roundtable on Monday that his sisters, Arpita Khan Sharma and Alvira Khan Agnihotri had tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
He said, "Arpita and Alvira tested positive, but they didn't have any symptoms." Salman added that they are on the road to recovery and are doing well at present.
During the interaction, the actor also revealed that while both his parents -- Salim and Salma Khan -- have got both doses of the vaccination, he is due for the second jab. He also urged citizens to get vaccinated and to take necessary precautions and stay safe while adding that the second wave of COVID is "very dangerous".
Salman's sister, 31-year-old Arpita Khan married Ayush Sharma in the year 2014, who later debut as an actor with the 2018 film 'Loveyatri'. Ayush will be next seen in Salman Khan starter 'Antim: The Final Truth. While 51-year-old Alvira, who is a well-known costume designer, married actor Atul Agnihotri in the year 1996.
