Rubina Dilaik reveals she was offered 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 13' too, but refused due to THIS reasonTV actress Rubina Dilaik who recently recovered from COVID-19 has revealed that she was offered ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 13’ but turned it down due to other commitments. The actress has also said that she dearly misses her husband, Abhinav Shukla, who is currently shooting for the show in South Africa’s Cape Town.

While speaking to ETimes, Rubina said, “I was offered the show. I didn’t take it up because I had committed to the daily soap Shakti. And then I got COVID. So even if I had taken up the show, I would have to back out.”

Rubina, however, added that she would not like to be a part of the show in the future as well. “I feel that’s not a show for me. I can’t deal with those creepy, crawly creatures,” she said.

The ‘Bigg Boss 14’ winner shared that Abhinav was “really worried” before leaving for ‘KKK13’ and “charted out an entire plan for her - doctors, medication and in case something goes wrong then who to get in touch with.”

During their stint on ‘Bigg Boss 14’ the couple disclosed details about their marriage hitting a rough patch and divorce. Speaing on the matter, Rubina says they are on a “much stronger base now” and their relationship is at a point where they “both are the wind beneath each other’s wings.”

“We can say that we have graduated in our relationship. We do not take each other for granted. We still have problems at times, but we have learnt newer tools to handle ourselves and our relationship. And I believe it’s a part of evolving,” the actor said.

Rubina was diagnosed with COVID-19 in early May and was quarantining with her sister, Jyotika Dilaik who had also contracted the virus. The actress recently shared photos with her family post her recovery.
