Yami Gautam ties the knot with 'Uri' director Aditya DharActress Yami Gautam has tied the knot with ‘Uri’ director, Aditya Dhar. The actress took to her Instagram on Friday to share a picture of the ‘intimate wedding ceremony’. Along with the picture, Yami quoted Rumi in her caption.

“With the blessings of our family, we have tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony today. Being very private people, we celebrated this joyous occasion with our immediate family. As we embark on the journey of love and friendship, we seek all your blessings and good wishes,” the newly married couple wrote in a joint statement.

Congrats poured in for Yami and Aditya from their fans and the film fraternity. Actress Dia Mirza wrote, “Congratulations Yami and Aditya Lots of love and best wishes to a wonderful journey ahead!” While Jacqueline Fernandes wrote, “Awwwwwwwww congrats yamiiiiiiiii!!! So happy for you!!!!”

TV actor Vikrant Massey wrote, "Bahut bahut bahut badhaaiyaan Yami ji and Bhai sahab. Incredible. God bless you both!!!! Dher saara pyaar!!!” Actor Sobhita Dhulipala wrote, "This is so heartening. Many many congratulations! Actors Bhumi Pednekar, Vaani Kapoor and Kartik Aaryan were also among the first ones to congratulate the newly married couple.

Aditya Dhar made his directorial debut with ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ for which he won the best director award at the 66th National Film Awards in 2019. The film starred actor Vicky Kaushal in the lead role. Meanwhile, Yami, who made her Bollywood debut with Ayushman Khurranan starrer ‘Vicky Donor’ will next be seen in Ramesh Taurani’s ‘Bhoot Police’ which also stars Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez in lead roles. She also has ‘A Thursday’ and ‘Dasvi’ in the pipeline.
