Smriti Mandhana becomes social media sensation through a viral picture, fans compare her with Bollywood actressesTeam India opener Smriti Mandhana's image of tying her hair during the only Test match against the England women's cricket team has gone viral and fans have been loving it. Mandhana, who played a sensational knock in the first innings of 78 runs has been previously called the 'national crush of India' after her pictures from the 2020 Women's T20 World Cup in Australia went viral on social media last year.

Indian women's side played a thrilling draw against England as the debutants Shafali Verma, Deepti Sharma, Sneh Rana, Taniya Bhatia showed why they belong at this level and that the women's team can compete and challenge in the longest format of the game.

Taking to Twitter, Smriti Mandhana on Sunday wrote, "A very special and emotional moment to represent India in white and every minute has been worth it! A huge shoutout to the striking performances by our girls on their debuts- we’re all so proud of you."

But not just for her batting, fans also love and adore her for her looks. One of the fans, who shared that photo from the match on Twitter, wrote, "Bollywood actresses with all those makeup and fancy dresses can sit down. Queen is here."

There were many other reactions too.

However, the tweet also invited some criticism as many people felt that it wasn't necessary to bring down one person to praise another and some felt that not appreciating her for her game and instead objectifying her because of their certain beauty standards was also not the right thing.

Indian women's cricket team will now play in a three-match ODI series, followed by a three-match T20I series against England starting Sunday, June 27.
