'Inside Edge 3': Richa Chadha-Vivek Oberoi starrer is back with more cricket, more drama, more entertainmentAfter massive success of the first two seasons, Amazon Prime Video’s ‘Inside Edge’ is back with a brand new season. ‘Inside Edge 3’ will have actors Vivek Oberoi, Richa Chadha, Sayani Gupta, Tanuj Virwani, Sapna Pabbi and others reprising their roles.

The streaming platform unveiled the logo of the third season of the cricket based show with a post that read, "More cricket. More drama. More entertainment. Season 3, coming soon. HOWZATTTTTT? #InsideEdge.”

The second season of ‘Inside Edge’ ended on an exciting cliffhanger, leaving fans eagerly waiting and wondering on what the next season will bring! Season two ended with the Mumbai Mavericks getting slapped with a two-year ban from competing in the PPL after its owners get involved in a match-fixing controversy and illegal betting allegations.

Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, the series also stars Aamir Bashir, Amit Sial, Akshay Oberoi and Sidhant Gupta in key roles. Created by Karan Anshuman, the web series is a tale of ups and down of a cricket team, with greed, ambition and corruption at its core.

Actor Angad Bedi, who wooed the viewers with his role of Arvind Vashisht in the first and second season of the series, will not return to the show this time. Sharing the news on his Instagram, Angad wrote, "I am not there in season 3. But all the best to the team. Go bring it home. No individual is bigger than the team. Arvind Vashisht shall always be there in spirit."

Angad's fans are quite upset to know about him not being a part of the third season. "What? We will miss you," a user commented. "You were my favourite. It would be hard for me to watch the upcoming season," another one commented.

Recently, it was revealed that ‘Ragini MMS: Returns’ actor Khatija Iqbal will be essaying the role of a mysterious hacker in ‘Inside Edge 3.

While talking about her appearance in the series, Khatija told IANS, "It's a no-nonsense show with a great cast and excellent team and it was an honour to work with such hardcore film professionals who know their jobs. I play a mysterious woman who enters a building and hacks into the system to make a betting deal come through.”
