Viral! Malayalam actress Anupama Parameswaran 'passes' Bihar STET Exam 2019Bihar’s education department released the results of the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2019, a few days back, and now a candidate's result is going viral on social media platforms.

The result that is being shared on social media contains the score of Hrishikesh Kumar in 3 subjects Urdu, Sanskrit, and Science under Paper-1 of STET, 2019, however, it has the photo of the Malayalam actress Anupama Parameswaran.

For the uninformed, results for STET 2019 were announced in March 2021, however, the scores of these 3 subjects were not uploaded at the time due to some technical issues. As soon as the photo of the result went viral on social media, several applicants alleged that large-scale malpractices have taken place amid preparing the STET results for 2019.

Leader of Opposition (LoP) in the Bihar Assembly, Tejashwi Yadav, also challenged the administration and questioned the state government over the incident. Responding to Yadav, the ruling Janata Dal (United) leader Ghulam Gaus said that "small mistakes keep happening" when results are being announced for a large number of students, as reported by News 18.

"The mistake will be rectified and we are trying our best to employ a large number of people in the state," he was quoted saying.

Notably, this is not the first time that state-level exam results included a photo of an actress. Back in 2019, Sunny Leone 'topped' the merit list released by the Bihar Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) for the post of junior engineers with 98.50 points. The department had later rectified their mistake.
