The 33-year-old has been under the spotlight for the past 12 months as rumours circulated suggested that her marriage was on the rocks, after her sister Solange and her husband Jay Z were seen clashing in an elevator, reports femalefirst.com.

Video footage of the same emerged on the internet and prompted speculation that their six-year marriage could be in trouble.

Beyonce also released a full platinum edition of her self-titled fifth studio album, while she and Jay Z embarked on their 'On The Run' tour.

Actress Jennifer Lawrence bagged second spot after having been one of the victims of the huge photo hacking scandal earlier in 2014.

Singers Katy Perry, Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift completed the top five.

Singer Ed Sheeran topped the list of male celebrities with Jay Z coming in at second place.

Harry Styles, Benedict Cumberbatch and David Beckham rounded up the male top five respectively.
