Sukhwinder Singh Concert - PostponedAuthor : Jagdish Sagar
Dear Community Members,
Due to unavoidable circumstances Sukhwinder Singh and Group will not be in Phoenix to perform on Friday May 14 at Symphony Hall.
Promoters had difficulty complying with VISA application procedures and therefore were not able to appear at the Consulate General for their interviews on May 5 in Mumbai, India. The group missed the interview opportunity. Promoters from NJ and CA have flown to Mumbai to handle the matters with USA embassy and assist the artists. The promoters were not able to get earlier appointments to bring the group to phoenix for May 14 show. They now have a new interview date and expect to get the Visa soon.
Sukhwinder Singh is waiting patiently and is keeping his spirits high. He is eager to arrive in USA to perform in your beautiful city of Phoenix.
We are working with promoters to find an alternate date and will notify everyone as soon as possible. Most likely this will be on May 31, June 4 or June 6.
Indo-American foundation, GCA and Punjabi Cultural Associations working together to bring Sukhwinder Singh and group to Arizona, regrets the inconvenience to the community. We thank the community for their understanding and support.
