Claiming the Small Business Health Care Tax Credit with the U.S. Small Business Administration and the U.S. Department of the Treasury
Monday, August 8 at 11:00a.m. EST
The White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI), in collaboration with the Small Business Administration and the U.S. Department of the Treasury, will hold a webinar on the Small Business Health Care Tax Credit, a program made possible by the Affordable Care Act, which helps small businesses and small tax-exempt organizations afford the cost of covering their employees. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) will also discuss new Asian language resources and services for limited English proficient communities looking to access IRS information.
The Small Business Health Care Tax Credit is especially important for the Asian American and Pacific Islander community. Small businesses account for nearly two out of three new jobs created today. AAPI-owned businesses, like other minority-owned businesses, continue to grow and create jobs in difficult times, testifying to their important role in helping drive economic recovery and growth.
