American film editor safe after Nepal quakeKathmandu, April 29 (AZINS) Santa Monica-based film editor A. Michelle Page, who was earlier listed as missing on an online page started by the Red Cross organisation to register the names of missing people after the 7.9 magnitude earthquake in Nepal, has now been marked 'I am alive'.

The Red Cross started the online page where people can register the names of those missing in Saturday's devastating earthquake in Nepal, and the survivors can also register themselves, informing their family and friends that they are alive.

The link http://familylinks.icrc.org/nepal-earthquake has names of hundreds of those missing, mainly foreigners. It also has the names and address of the survivors of 7.9 magnitude earthquake that rocked Nepal on Saturday, killing over 4,000 people.

Page arrived in Nepal last week and hadn’t been heard from since the earthquake shook the region on Saturday.

Page, 58, is a film editor who worked on the "Spider-Man" trilogy and Robert Altman’s “The Player,” according to her website.

Also, on her personal Facebook page, Page said she and her husband Daniel Adams, were safe and were staying at a sturdy hotel that had no cracks. The couple, she said, still had lots of food from their travels.

But Page said communication was limited, including WiFi service.

“Communication is impossible here. I still cannot contact my artists to check on their welfare. The lack of communication is heart-breaking,” Page wrote.
