Rita Ora flaunts 1960s' fashion in new videoLos Angeles, June 6 (AZINS) Singer Rita Ora is inspired by fashion of the 1960s in her new music video "Poison".

Her stylist said that they picked out "six or seven racks" of outfits for the stylish clip.

The video depicts Ora hanging out with her friends when she is discovered by a fashion photographer (Jason Rembert) who turns her into his muse, reports hollywoodreporter.com.

"The inspiration was definitely very mod: a mix of ‘60s mod Factory Girl and early ‘90s and late-‘80s urban flair, that mixture between those two worlds. I pulled way too many clothes - we had about six or seven racks of clothing and about 100 pairs of shoes" Rembert said.

Rembert, who also has worked with singers Ciara and Iggy Azalea said that they spent two weeks prepping for the video shoot since both his team and Ora were so “heavily invested in it.

"We reached out to couturiers, pret-a-porter designers and recent grads, so it was a mixture of new designers, well-established designers and vintage, too. We had fun - we had a fitting that lasted till 2 o’clock in the morning, and it was amazing, even though we had a 7 a.m. call time the next morning."

As for the clothes, they consisted of vintage pieces (in part pulled from Ora’s extensive personal collection) like a David Bowie t-shirt, a very 1960s-feeling pink-striped Giles suit, Acne boots and an Ashi Studio jumpsuit and cape, as well as back-and-white latex -- the last two being Rembert’s favorite looks.

"The black and white is just so powerful, so sexy and so beautiful, and the makeup was perfect - the nude lip and black liner - and with the hair back, it was breathtaking," Rembert said.

"Rita experiments a lot; she has so many sides of who she is, as a style girl and as an artist. It’s amazing we were able to showcase that and mesh her street style and glam goddess worlds into four minutes," he added.
