Dita Von Teese doesn't leave house without lipstickLos Angeles, June 20 (AZINS) Actress-designer Dita Von Teese says she would never leave her house without applying her signature red lipstick.

"Although I don't spend a lot of time getting ready before I leave for the day, there are things. My red lipstick is always in place and it takes me only a minute to do. I don't have this dishevelled personality.

"I have a distinctive casual look that doesn't take me much time, but it's not like anybody's going to catch me in jeans and a t-shirt," said Von Teese, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

The 42-year-old sported the same retro-inspired look for the past two decades.

The "High on Heels" star doesn't care if she is criticised for not changing her appearance as she "really respects people" that stand by their own sense of style.

"I really love people who have a distinctive sense of self, a distinctive personal style that doesn't falter or waiver depending on what's fashionable at the time. I really respect people who know how they want to look because I feel very close to that. I have a very distinctive look as well," she told Prestige magazine.

"I've been wearing my hair and makeup the same way for more than 20 years and I know what clothes I want to wear. I don't really care if someone says that it's outdated or they've seen it already, or they think I should do something else. Real glamour and beauty and personal style comes from what makes you feel good about yourself. And that's it," she added.
