Daniel Craig doesn't want to be sexistAuthor : AZIndia News Desk
London, Sep 1 (AZINS) Actor Daniel Craig says he doesn't want to be as sexist and misogynistic as the character James Bond he has been portraying since 2005.
Craig, who is married to actress Rachel Weisz, shared that he does not want to be "as sexist and misogynistic" as the fictional spy, reports mirror.co.uk.
"The world has changed. I am certainly not that person. But he is… so what does that mean? It means you cast great actresses and make the parts as good as you can for the women in the movies," Esquire magazine quoted Craig as saying.
The 47-year-old, who has featured in a series of '007' films such as "Casino Royale", "Skyfall" and "Quantum of Solace", said that he cannot be a womaniser at his age.
"There's a great sadness. He's got these beautiful women but then they leave. It's sad. And as a man gets older, it's not a good look. It might be a nice fantasy, that's debatable," he added.
The new Bond movie "Spectre" is due for release in November.
