'The Martian' continues to lead US box officeLos Angeles, Oct 26 (AZINS) "The Martian" was again the favourite choice for moviegoers this weekend in the US and Canada, overtaking Sony's "Goosebumps" to be the No.1 film for the third time in its four weeks of exhibition.

"The Martian" was projected to sell $15.9 million in tickets in its fourth weekend in release. Starring Matt Damon, the space drama has amassed more than $166 million in North America, according to box office tracker Rentrak.

"Goosebumps" was second, with $15.5 million in weekend gross sales. The 3D horror comedy starring Jack Black was down 34 percent from last weekend's debut. The ten-day take for "Goosebumps" stands at $43.7 million, Xinhua reported on Sunday.

Steven Spielberg's "Bridge of Spies" settled at third, at $11.4 million. "Bridge of Spies" is Spielberg's fourth collaboration with star Tom Hanks. The film dropped 26 percent compared with last weekend's gross and took in $32.6 million in total.

The rest of the 10 most-viewed movies this weekend were "The Last Witch Hunter" ($10.8 million), "Hotel Transylvania 2" ($9 million), "Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension" ($8.2 million), "Steve Jobs" ($7.3 million), "Crimson Peak" ($5.6 million), "The Intern" ($3.9 million) and "Sicario" ($2.9 million).
