'Transparent' star Amy Landecker joins Benedict Cumberbatch in 'Doctor Strange' castLos Angeles, Nov 12(AZINS) According to The Wrap, a new member has been added to the cast of Doctor Strange: Amy Landecker, from Amazon's Emmy-winning Transparent and A Serious Man.

Landecker joins Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Mads Mikkelsen, Tilda Swinton and Michael Stuhlbarg in the Marvel comic-book remake of Doctor Strange. Cumberbatch plays the title role of neurosurgeon Steven Strange, with Swinton as his magical mentor. Landecker's part has not yet been revealed.

The Doctor Strange script was written by Jon Spaihts and is being directed by Scott Derrickson. Filming is expected to start in December, and the movie is set to hit theatres on November 4, 2016.
