On Thursday, November 13, a one-minute clip of Star Wars: The Force Awakens was shown on ABC.
This most recent clip of the next instalment in the Star Wars franchise, shown during ABC's "Thank God it's Thursday" programming block, gives fans a few snippets of extra information about the movie.
The new scenes give cause for speculation among the franchise's fans. Among them, Finn's TIE Fighter is seen escaping The First Order hangar bay, Han hands Rey what appears to be a blaster, and Kylo Ren threatens "Nothing will stand in our way. We'll show them the dark side". The rest of the footage was taken from previous clips and trailers.
