'Friends' star Courteney Cox, Johnny McDaid call off engagement Washington DC, Dec 2(AZINS) Courteney Cox has ended her relationship with Johnny McDaid before Thanksgiving and just 17 months after getting engaged.

The Snow Patrol guitarist popped the big question to the Friends actress in June 2014 during her daughter Cuco's birthday bash at Jennifer Aniston's home. McDaid even asked Coco's permission to marry her mom after six months of dating, Us Magazine reported.

The pair were last photographed together in August. Cox and McDaid have not publicly confirmed the reports. Cox was previously married to actor David Arquette in 1999, the father of her daugher and they divorced in 2013.
