Rs 600-crore blockbuster 'Baahubali': How much did Prabhas and Rajamouli earn? Dec 13 (AZINS) Telugu blockbuster Baahubali has been India's biggest film so far. The film, released in June, created history earning over Rs 600 crore at the box office.

While there has been much speculation over how much director SS Rajamouli and lead actor Prabhas were paid for the film, their presence on the 2015 Forbes India Celebrity 100 list revealed actual figures of how much they earned this year.

Many had speculated that Prabhas had been paid Rs 50 crore for the film. The actor famously kept himself free for two years for the film, not taking on any new projects.

Prabhas ranked 77th on the list with earnings of Rs 24 crore while Rajamouli ranked 72nd with Rs 26 crore. It's estimated that minus the Rs 4 crore he earned for the Mahindra ad, Prabhas probably earned Rs 20 crore for the film. 

Rajamouli is currently shooting the sequel Baahubali: The Conclusion Shoot. The film is likely to release in end of 2016 or early 2017. Prabhas is reprising his role as Shivudu in the film.
