Mumbai, Jan 14(AZINS) Lenovo Lemon 3 budget smartphone launched in China today, with a price tag of 699 yuan (about Rs 7,000), it is obvious that it is obvious that it is a direct competitor of the Xiaomi Redmi 3 which launched earlier this week.
The phone has a 5-inch full-HD IPS display at a resolution of 1080x1920 with pixel density of 441ppi. It sports an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 which clocks at 1.5GHz, an Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The budget smartphone will also run on Android 5.1 Lollipop and has dual-SIM functionality.
The Lemon 3 will also support many standard connectivity options like for 4G LTE networks, Bluetooth, Wifi, USB 2.0, and GPS.
It will contain 16GB of inbuilt storage (expandable upto 128GB via microSD card) with a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies. The Lemon 3 weighs in at 142 grams and will be powered by a reasonable 2720 mAh battery. Lenovo also threw in MaxxAudio and Dolby audio technology for a better audio experience.
