Radhika Apte joins Rajinikanth for 'Kabali' shoot in MalaysiaFeb 5(AZINS) Radhika Apte has joined the shoot of Pa Ranjith's Kabali in Malayasia. In the film, the actress plays the wife of an ageing gangster played by Rajinikanth.

The film is reportedly loosely based on the life of gangster Kabaleeshwaran.

Radhika congratulated the superstar recently on being awarded the Padma Vibhushan. "He is an icon for the people of the entire country. So many people idolize him and so do I. What I really like about him is his humility. There is so much I am learning by just observing him,” Radhika was quoted as saying.

Kabali also stars Dhanshikaa, Dinesh, Kalaiarasan and Ritwika and is set for release in May 20116.
