Apple’s big March event rumored to be pushed back a week; new iPad, 4-inch iPhone expected to be unveiledAuthor : AZIndia News Desk
Mumbai, Mar 1(AZINS) According to reports from South Korean website underKG, Apple’s much-awaited upcoming launch event that was slated for 15 March has now been pushed back. It is now expected to happen in the week of 22 March, although the exact date is yet to be confirmed.
The biggest product expected to be unveiled is the reduced form factor 4-inch iPhone. This device (rumored to be called the "iPhone 6c" or "iPhone 5se") is expected to have similar specs as the iPhone 6S, but in the far more portable iPhone 5s-type size. Specifications could include the A8 chipset, Voice Over LTE (VoLTE) support, Apple Pay and more.
Design-wise, this iPhone is expected to resemble the current flagship devices with its curved
edges and Aluminium bodies--a design approach that was introduced in 2014 with the iPhone 6.
The event may also see the introduction of a new 9.7-inch iPad (previously referred to as the iPad Air 3) packing an A9X processor, a magnetic Smart Connector, an enhanced speaker system (possibly 4-way as in the iPad Pro,) a better camera, support for Apple Pencil, along with a possible Apple Watch update accompanied by a range of strap options.
