WATCH: A "bionic ear" that can reshape the way you hear soundAuthor : AZIndia News Desk
Mumbai, Mar 2(AZINS) At first glance, it looks like a generic pair of bluetooth headphones that are used for nothing more than listening to the rumble of music, podcasts, videos and… well you get the point…
But take a closer look and you’ll notice that the ‘mild mannered’ looking pair of headphone doubles as a bionic ear. The pair of in-ear headphones packs a speaker as well as a microphone, is capable of capturing sound and modulating waves to user preference.
Doppler Labs, the company that created the bionic headphone was founded in 2013 by Noah Kraft and Fritz Lanman, are currently solely focusing on creating “hearables, wearable technology for the ears that optimize the way you hear the world.”
Co-founder and CEO, Noah Kraft told Tech Gadgets, “Every single person hears the world different. Some people might walk into a loud concert and think, ‘Wow, that’s perfect!’ Other people might want to turn it down, if you’re like me, and you’re an audiophile, you might walk into that room and say, ‘Huh, if it only had a little more reverb, a little more bass, I would enjoy it more.'”
The headphones are priced at $249.
