Mar 12(AZINS) The magic of Star Wars: The Force Awakens is yet to show any signs of receding. Since the making of the new episode in the franchise was announced, every fan out in the world wanted to be the fly on the wall.
Disney is giving the fans the chance to relive these moments with the home video release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The set will have Secrets of The Force Awakens: A Cinematic Journey, the documentary on the making of the magnum opus.
The trailer for the release of the home video features the images of the entire cast at the first table read.
"This was going to be the first gathering of the original cast [and] the new cast — this core group of people that were going to be part of making this movie, and we wanted to document it. Just as a fan of Star Wars, to see them together was such a thrill," we hear director JJ Abrams say.
Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, and Domhnall Gleeson are in the image. The picture also marks the reunion of legacy stars, the moniker assigned to the original cast of Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Mark Hamill.
The Blu-ray release will also feature deleted scenes, behind-the-scene footage.
Secrets of The Force Awakens: A Cinematic Journey will premiere at SXSW on March 14 ahead of the release of Blu-ray set release on April 5.
