Samsung’s massive 18.4-inch Galaxy View tablet now available in the USMumbai, Mar 14(AZINS) If binge watching movies and TV shows is your thing, Samsung’s new, gargantuan, 18.4-inch tablet should be right up your alley. Aptly called the Galaxy View, the tablet which was announced in October 2015 is now available on US cellular provider Verizon’s website.

The tablet has a 1080p screen resolution (approximately 120ppi pixel density) and is powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 7580 chipset (containing a 1.6 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU), 2GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD card,) a 2.1 MP front-facing camera and a 5,700mAh battery that claims an 8 hour video watching time. The tablet weighs in at 2.4 Kg but does have an integrated handle for easier portability. The device is powered by Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

The movie- and TV-friendly tablet will be available as part of a device payment plan costing $24.99 per month for two years. The device is also available for outright purchase for $599.99.
