Iwata, who served as the fourth president and CEO of the iconic gaming company Nintendo, passed away suddenly last year at age 55 leaving millions of saddened fans among the worldwide gaming community.
Recently at the Game Developers Conference underway underway in San Francisco, the Game Developers Choice Awards team honored this stalwart with an animated short that highlighted some of his greatest inventions--contributions that played a huge role in the evolution of computer gaming as the world knows it.
