Looks like current Superman, Henry Cavill, has finally found the answer.

Cavill posted a video on his Instagram page. In the video we can see him stroll through New York City's most crowded area, Time Square, without being noticed by the people.

Cavill was wearing superman T-shirt, similar to the spandex attire we've come to associate with Kal-El. He took pictures standing under the gigantic posters of Batman v Superman, right in the middle of a bustling Time Square and nobody noticed him!
