In the trailer, Bridget is still single, listening to 'All by myself' by Celine Dion, but hitting the gym this time. She is a television producer now and is 'maintaining a good relationship with ex (Colin Firth's Mark Darcy).' She also has a meet-cute with Jack Qwant (Patrick Dempsey) to get herself in her familiar territory - awkward.

Then comes the 'Bridget' moment. She is pregnant and has no idea who is the father of the baby.

The original cast of Renee Zellweger, Colin Firth, Jim Broadbent, and Sally Philips is back minus Hugh Grant. New addition is Patrick Dempsey and Emma Thompson.

The movie is directed by Sharon Maguire. The new installment is due on September 16, 2016.
