Instagram videos can now be 60 seconds longAuthor : AZIndia News Desk
Mumbai, Mar 30(AZINS) Two months ago, Instagram began to let advertisers on it's platform use 60-second videos, and now regular users have the same option.
Instagram videos have been limited to 15 seconds since they were introduced back in 2013, but the 60-second extended time is another step in broadening the platform's reach. Unfortunately, despite a significantly longer display time, the platform does not yet have any comprehensive video editing tools. However, iOS users do have the option to create a video from various smaller ones in their camera roll.
Another recent addition, that's sure to push along the popularity of their videos, is a new view counter, alongside the regular likes. The company is working hard to ensure users on its platform aren't just seeing static images anymore, in order for them to compete with the likes of Snapchat and Vine. The update is currently live on iOS and Android.
