Watch: This retired teacher’s Bengali tributes to Pink Floyd are as trippy as the originalsAuthor : AZIndia News Desk
May 14(AZINS) Harsha Kumar Dasgupta, a retired geography teacher who lives in Berhampore, West Bengal, needs your immediate attention. The extremely talented gentleman, who is also a graphic artist and a singer, does Bengali covers of popular Pink Floyd songs and he is pretty damn good. Whether or not you are a Pink Floyd fan, you'll enjoy this.
The 72-year-old has taken liberties from time to time with the lyrics because translating literally would make it very tough to maintain the rhyme.
His song list includes:
Taaiy (So) - based on Pink Floyd's 'Wish You Were Here'
Somoy (Time) - based on Pink Floyd's 'Time'
Dewal (Wall) - based on Pink Floyd's 'Another Brick in the Wall'
Ai Tumi (Hey You) - Based on Pink Floyd's 'Hey You'
Anya ami 2 - Based on Pink Floyd's 'Comfortably Numb '
