Will.i.am launches vinyl-inspired earphones exclusively through AppleMay 25(AZINS) US singer will.i.am has released his own premium Bluetooth earphones through his technology company i.am.

The star announced on Monday the i.am+ EPs are on sale now exclusively through select Apple Stores, and at apple.com.

Inspired by the iconic shape of vinyl records, the classic circular design of the EPs has been crafted from spun metal and paired with a woven fabric cord for a look that focuses on style rather than sport or tech.

The EPs have also been designed with 30-foot Bluetooth range and built-in remote and microphone. Promising excellent sound and bass quality, the EPs are lightweight and comfortable enough to wear all day long, providing the wearer with non-stop access to music.

Available in two colorways -- black and gold -- the i.am+ EPs are compatible with iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and other devices and retail for $229.95 (Approx Rs 15,480).
