Family releases emotional tribute video for 'The Voice' singer Christina GrimmieJune20(AZINS) Singer Christina Grimmie's family have paid tribute to her in a powerful video.

'The Voice' star was laid to rest in a private service on Thursday, with her family holding a public memorial service the following day.

Now they have released a video that looks back on Christina's career, with her stunning rendition of Jason Mraz's 'I Won't Give Up' interspersed with moments from her rise to fame, reported The Wrap.

"Christina Grimmie was taken from all of us far too soon, but the impact she had on this world in the short 22 years of her life will carry on forever," the video description read.

At one point in the video, Christina outlines her aspirations, "My goal in my career is to inspire people, is to get my music out there and have people enjoy it and really think of me as an inspirational artist."

The emotional video ends with 'The Voice' star telling her YouTube followers: "You're strong, so own it. Love, me." Christina was tragically murdered while signing autographs in Orlando on June 10, after performing with the band Before You Exit.

In response to this tragedy, a GoFundMe campaign for the singer's family has raised more than US $180,000.

The 22-year-old singer has also since been publicly mourned by Selena Gomez, Fifth Harmony and cast members from 'The Voice'.
