He put out a call for men of all races to join "Operation H.U.N.T.", which stands for "Hunt Us Not Today" and "Hate Us Not Today".
In a video shared by Dogg on Instagram, he explained the reason for marching to LAPD headquarters, saying they wanted "some dialogue (and) some understanding with the new recruits before they hit the streets so that way they know that we (are) just like them and we are trying to live, go home and get some understanding".
The two rappers had a private meeting with Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, Police Chief Charlie Beck and other top police officials following the graduation ceremony.
